Since Raziel didn’t seem to be in any big hurry, and because I definitely was, I unbuttoned the top of the uniform, pulled the skirts back to reveal my thighs. Eyes burning, he shoved off the doorframe.
He never took his eyes off me, and my skin tightened, wetness bloomed between my legs.
I didn’t know exactly what was happening to me, but I wanted more of this heady feeling. As if something loomed on the horizon, and I couldn’t wait to get there. Part of me hoped this was over quick, the other part wanted to savor every inch of Raz’s body, the divots and bulges, all of it gleaming beneath a layer of dripping sweat, his shirt still crushed in his fist.
“I want this to last.” Raz tossed the shirt aside, his gaze on my heaving chest, as I flicked another button open. “And I sure as fuck don’t want it to be out here.”
“Beggars can’t be choosers.” His hands closed around my thighs; his tanned flesh so dark against my creamy skin. I took a deep breath and raised my head so we looked straight at each other. “I’m glad it’s you.” I finally said when our gazes collided.
“Out of everybody I’ve ever known, you were the one I chose, Raz. And I’m glad.”
He shuddered, then frowned, scratching the back of his neck. “Strange. That felt like someone walked over my grave.” Then he reached up and unwound the fabric from my hair, letting the heavy curls fall free. When he ran his fingers through my hair, he looked down at me like he couldn’t quite believe I was real.
He dipped his head, brushed his mouth against my lips. He tasted like fire. Hot and electric and alive. I let him do it again, savoring the soft press of his lips on mine, my body responding, like butterflies taking flight inside me.
“More?” His dark eyes searched mine, a question there, one I answered with a smile.
“Thank the gods.” Raziel’s next kiss wasn’t a tease, he plundered my mouth, his tongue diving between my lips, tracing my teeth, one hand sliding under the dress and cupping my breast, his thumb pinching my nipple. I hissed into his mouth at the overwhelming sensations, my back arching, which only gave him better access.
Then my hands were clasped around the nape of his neck as he kissing me, his hands exploring my body, his thighs pushing between mine. This close, Raz was huge, bigger than I’d ever given him credit for, his strength intimidating on a molecular level, yet he braced his hand behind my back, held me steady as he pulled away, sliding his finger beneath my chin.
“Last chance, Anaria. If you say yes now, this is happening.”
“Yes.” I beathed, carried along by the desire humming through my body. What had always appeared to be a hurried, straightforward act…was anything but.
I hadn’t expected to…feel like this.
Reckless, brave…sexy.
I hadn’t expected him to go to his knees between my legs and slide my underwear off, either. I batted at him and he caught my wrists together, pressed me flat to the table. “Close your eyes. Don’t make a fucking sound while I taste you.”
Then Raz’s warm breath tickled the insides of my thighs, while I tried to cover myself up. I thought our pairing would be two minutes spent grappling in the dark, but this…this was something entirely different.
This was…intimate, darkly forbidding, in ways I couldn’t explain. Then his tongue swept through my pussy and I slapped my hand over my mouth to keep myself from crying out.
